Choosing a wedding date at the end of October helped Gene celebrate his love of Halloween with his wedding to Heather. We had the fun of mixing a sophisticated autumn design with Halloween props for a photo booth, including severed heads, ghouls and skeletons. Never a dull moment over here! Colorful and fun images of this great party captured by Jordan Moody of Brea McDonald Photography.Read More
Being hired to produce a wedding venue owner’s own daughter’s wedding is a special privilege. We had a lot of fun working with Alice and Adrien to design a French countryside feeling summer barn wedding at the bride’s parents’ wedding venue, Shady Lane Farm.
We incorporated vintage enamelware, local flowers and hydrangeas, grain sack linen table runners and kept the colors neutral with textural elements, pale blue, cream, oatmeal and accents of pale yellow.
We designed and arranged the flowers, using local blooms from the bride’s family friend’s farm, and it was one of the hottest weekends of the summer, or course! Always anxiety producing to be working with perishable, temperature sensitive items in outdoor celebrations! Alice’s bouquet included yellow freesia, ivory garden roses, yellow spray roses, thistle, local euphorbia and French blue forget me nots.
Dreamy lighting installed by Event Light Concepts and a lobster bake feast was provided by Foster’s Clambakes and Catering.

Christen & Micah are friends with former wedding planning clients of mine, the grooms both having attended Bowdoin College together. They wanted an elegant, downtown Portland, Maine -New Year’s weekend celebration. Working closely with Christen we created a design with accents of natural elements, lots of evergreens and candles. Christen and her friend made her pine cone bouquet themselves! Photos by Sarah Morrill Photography.Read More

If you are planning an island wedding, be in touch, we have decades of experience and know how to create this special animal of the wedding world, known as the Maine Island Wedding!Read More
I feel so fortunate to often be able to schedule work so we can be on location at times that work for our family life. When my daughter is scheduled to attend day camp at Camp Beech Cliff on Mt. Desert Island in the summer, we are happy to book up a month of work in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor and load up the camper or rent a cottage, to live, even for a few weeks or days, in the woods in my favorite place on Earth. Photographer extraordinaire, Emily Delamater captured this misty, intimate day, wait until you see the images in the forest!Read More

Chris has Maine roots and Carly fell in love with this special place and with Acadia National Park with Chris. And I fell in love with this beautiful couple. I can do that, right?!Read More
